Once we have learnt all the three bandhas, we can perform Bahya pranayama That is the next in sequence. Sit in yogic posture with your eyes closed and concentrate on your breathing for about couple of minutes till your mind is totally empty of all thoughts. Then, breathe out with full force. Do Mulabandha, Uddiyanbandha, and Jalandhar bandhs symultaneously keeping the breath out for as long as you can sit comfortably. Then, when you decide to breathe in, do so very slowly, unlocking all the bandhas. Begin breathing normally without retaining the breathe in. Repeat this exercise for about 5 times.
There are many benefits of this unique pranayama. The weavering of the mind stops and you will be able to concentrate on all matters effectively. It improves digestion and cures all types of the abdominal disorders. It also sharpens your inteligence, cleans the entire body internally causing the semen to travel upwards, thus also enhancing your sexual powers. This pranayama is to be performed after the Kapalbhati Pranayama in order to remove the stress created by doing kapalbhati pranayama. I would urge you all to go through all my posts through link www.yogaandpranayama.blogpost.com in order to maintain your continuity on the subject.

Maha Bandha In Pranayama
We have already seen how to practice three Bandhas, namely, Jalandhara Bandha, Udiyar Bandha, and Mula Bandha separately to get various health benefits. Next, we have to per form all these three Bandhas togethar. You have to start with Jalandhara Bandha, followed by Udiyar bandha and then, immediately Mula Bandha. Try to remain with all three Bandhas done togethar. Though, it will not be a long time that you can maintain all three bandhas. Then, release one by one, all the three Bandhas in the reverce sequence of doing it. that means to release Mula Bandha first, then udiyar Bandha and finally Jalandhara Bandha. Try to achieve around 1 minute maximum with all three bandhas. Make sure to increase the time limit very gradually, day by day.
The benefits of this Maha Bandha are all the benefits that are obtained by performing each Bandha. Maha Bandha can cure almost all the diseases if performed daily for a minute or so. You shall start deriving benefits within only 3 days of starting it. My sincere advice is to start it at once and get rid of all the diseases, doctors, and medicines for your remaining life. Moola Bandha in Pranayama
The third important Bandh in line is called Moola Bandha. Sit in a yogic posture with your eyes closed. Breathe in and after reataining the air inside for some time, exhale all the air, making your system completly empty. Raise the perineum part (part between anus and the genital organ) up. While doing this, the part of the stomach region will be stretched up. Hold in this position for as long as you can, for around one minute or so. Then, you can breathe in and repeat this exercise again. This Bandha may be performed for around 10 times per day. Experienced Yogis can remain in this position of Bandha for years. However, practice for this Bandha for a long time should be done only under strict supervision of yoga teacher.
The main benefits of this Bandha is that Aparna Vayu takes upward course, helping in awakening of Muldhara chakra and the Kundalini. It completly cures constipation, improve digestion, and cures diseases like piles. This Bandha makes the semen travel upwards, and so ,it is very helpful in observance of celibacy.

Uddiana Bandh in Pranayama
After Jalandhara Bandh, second bandh is Uddiar Bandh. This bandh is very useful to awaken the prana and taking it upwards to enter into Sushumna Nadi. Sit in any yogic posture, either in padmaasana, or sukhasana keeping your palms on your knees. Breathe out completly and release the muscles of your stomach. Stretch your chest slightly upwards and try to push the stomach back, so that it touches the spine on your hind. Maintain this position as long as you can. then, breathe in , rest for sometime and repeat this exercise again. Try to do this Bandha for three times only. Gradually, this number can be taken to around 10/15 times over a period of 2 months.
This Bandh cures all diseases pertaining to stomach and all the organs of digestive system. It also cures constipation completly within a period of around 2 weeks of doing this Bandha. You will start feeling light and energised fully if you perform this bandha regularly.

Jalandhara Bandh in Pranayama
The next step in pranayama is to learn 3 types of bandhas. Bandh means 'to tie', to lock, or to prevent. The first type of Bandha is Jalandhara Bandh. Sit straight in Padmasana or ssukhasana. Breathe the air in keeping your palms on your knees. Lower your neck a little in front so that your chin touches the pit in your neck.Concentrate your eye-sight between your brows. your chest will project forward in this posture. This bandha keeps all the nerves of the neck togethar. This bandha may be performed while performing various types of pranayamas, which shall be explained by me in my subsequent posts.
There are many benefits of this Bandha. Your voice becomes pleasant and charming. Due to the constrction of the neck, Ida and Pingala Nadis also close themselves, directing your prana energy to Sushumna Nadi, the seat of Kundalini. All the diseases of neck and throat are cured by this Bandh. It is highly beneficial in the ailments like Thyroid, Tonsils etc. This Bandh also purifies and awakens Vishuddhi chakra. Such a simple exercise gives you tremendous benefits and you will find your whole attitude being changed to positive from negative.

KapalBhati Pranayama
This is the pranayama that is called the king of all pranayamas. Sit in a yogic pose with your eyes closed. Concentrate on your breathing as it passes through your body upto the lungs and going out in a return passage. In Kapalbhati, inhalation is to be done with normal usual force but the act of exhalation is to be done forcefully with the maximum force that is available with you. While doing this, the abdominal area has to go inward with a force, while exhaling. Also keep on thinking that while exhaling, all the impurities of your body and mind are thrown out and they are getting purified with the fresh air. The impurities of the mind can be like anger, greed, self ego etc. Similarly, while breathing in, think that you are taking all positive elements inside your body and mind like love, sympathy, and detachment from the physical world etc. Do this pranayama for around 10 to 15 minutes daily and I am sure you will remain fit and healthy all through your remaining life. If you feel tired in between, rest for couple of long and slow breathes and restart again. Initially, you may feel a little pain in the back or abdomen. But this will go away within a few days only.
Almost all the diseases like diabetes, obesity, acidity, constipation, depression, high blood pressure, kidney diseases are cured effectively by this pranayama. Even blockages of the arteries of heart are also getting removed. Peace and stability of the mind is secured. Your whole attitude changes to positive. All the chakras of the body are purified and are filled with new cosmic positive energy. This may look unbelivable to some, but I have myself cured many people from such diseases with the help of this pranayama. The main aspect is to have faith and confidence in this breathing exercise. I would sincerely urge you all to start this pranayama and take all the benefits stated within around 4/5 days only.
